Covers the new Ontario Workforce Priority Stream, which replaced all previous OINP streams on June 26, 2026.

Where you work changes your OINP score

The Ontario Workforce Priority Stream awards up to 15 regionalization points for working outside the City of Toronto, on top of every other scoring factor. Your region is set by the work location your employer enters on your job offer, or, for self-employed physicians, by the Ontario practice address on your OHIP billing number registration. Toronto itself scores 0 regionalization points, while Northern Ontario scores the most of any region.
