Share your score anonymously: community scores
You can now share your calculator score anonymously from the results panel. Only the score, pathway, and date are stored; nothing identifies you. Once 30 scores have been shared, the draws and cutoffs page shows how scores shared in the last 90 days are distributed. These are self-selected scores from visitors to this site, not Ontario’s EOI pool, and they do not predict cutoffs.

Earnings factor gained a new top band: $80,000 or more
Ontario added a top band to the Canadian earnings history factor: $80,000 or more in a single year, verified by a CRA Notice of Assessment from the last 5 years, now scores 10 points, and $70,000–$79,999 keeps 8. The maximum score rises to 132 points for job-offer applicants and 117 for self-employed physicians. Ontario applied the change to existing EOIs automatically. The experience tables now also state that time in the job-offer position must be full-time, while general Ontario experience can be full-time or part-time equivalent. No other point values changed. If you saved calculator answers with $70,000 or more, pick your earnings band again.

Draws and cutoffs page added
A new draws and cutoffs page tracks every OWP Stream draw as Ontario announces it: dates, pathways, cutoff scores, and invitations issued. No draws have been announced yet.

EOI registration opened
Ontario opened the Expression of Interest portal for the Workforce Priority Stream. Employers already registered in the Employer Portal keep their accounts but must submit new job offers; EOIs and job offers from the closed streams were withdrawn during the transition. No draw schedule has been announced. We re-checked every scoring factor against the updated official page: no point values changed. Ontario also corrected the hours figure in the 6-month experience requirement from 390 to 780.

Education table corrected: doctorate added to the top band
A reader pointed out that our top education row omitted doctorates. The official band is "Doctorate or degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry", worth 10 points, and the calculator now says so. PhD holders who previously picked "Master’s degree" were shown 2 points too few. We also split the college/CEGEP and apprenticeship rows to match the official wording; their point values are unchanged.

Calculator launched and verified against the official grid
oinp.org launched with the full EOI scoring grid, checked line by line against the official stream page on ontario.ca. Region groupings for all 49 census divisions verified the same day.

Ontario published the EOI scoring grid
The official stream page added point values for every factor: maximum 130 points for job-offer applicants and 115 for self-employed physicians.

The OWP Stream replaced all eight OINP streams
The old Expression of Interest system closed on June 25, and the Ontario Workforce Priority Stream became the single OINP stream. EOI registration was announced for later in summer 2026.

Regulatory amendments took effect
Amendments to Ontario Regulation 421/17 came into force, the legal basis for the stream redesign announced in March 2026.
